During my time in Educanta I was called to support the sourcing team of a healthcare company. My main tasks were related to the new product development projects. I was responsible for collecting the logistic info, approving the logistic labels, setting up the new products in 3PLs and tracking the progress of the projects. In addition, I created a new version of the supplier matrix, and I was in charge of updating and improving it. Educanta provided me motivation to go that extra mile in my work and search for improvements in every aspect of it. I had the opportunity to receive support and help both within the team and externally when needed. Thus, I was prepared to face the challenges and bring the desired results. Working in Educanta allowed me to meet and work with great people. Our weekly check in brought us closer and provided a nice balance between workload and private life. In this way, I felt part of a bonded team that cares for each other beyond work.

I was supporting the Head of Packaging and Supplier Quality, primarily focusing on the repackaging of products to ensure their suitability for online selling. I optimised this process through the utilisation of various tools, including VBA coding. I also communicated with 3PLs on that matter, to adapt to the new demands and address the continuous improvement of the process. This job experience made me grow a lot. I applied my organisational skills and utilised VBA to optimise an existing real-world process, which was very enriching for me. Furthermore, I learned a lot about packaging techniques and standards and how they could be created to be as sustainable as possible. By collaborating with my colleagues, I gained valuable insights on how a company working in distribution is handled and what their main challenges are today. It was a great opportunity to work in a company as a student. I could experience what it meant to be a consultant in a company while at the same time receiving valuable support by my mentor and the Educanta team whenever I faced challenges in my work or sought ways to improve my performance. Having this support coupled with the good spirit of the team helped me a lot and made my experience at Educanta and with the client very enjoyable.

My main responsibility as a Junior Analyst in the Sustainability team was to collect and analyze product-related data by engaging both internal and external stakeholders. Using tools such as Power Query and VBA, I built an extensive database covering over 90% of the product portfolio. This database was thereafter used to create different kinds of recyclability simulations, which today serve as guidelines for setting sustainability targets at the company level and have also helped to prepare decision-support materials for internal use. Other side projects included participating in sustainability-focused workshops and mapping needs and new requirements, as well as rethinking current processes regarding Extended Producer Responsibility in the top 10 markets. This experience was enriching in many ways. I acquired new analytical skills and had the opportunity to work on a project that is a bridge between data, strategy, and sustainability. Working closely with the Head of Sustainability and other brilliant and intelligent colleagues provided me with many valuable insights. I greatly enjoyed the support from the Educanta team throughout the duration of the project and received insightful updates on other parts of the company thanks to the team's weekly meetings. The teamwork displayed by everyone involved not only enhanced the project's success but also made the entire experience truly memorable and rewarding.
